School numbers have been in excess of 700 for a number of years with total grade enrolments ranging around the 100 students per level across the school
The school provides instruction in the specialist areas of: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Library/Literacy Enrichment, Additional Assistance for children with literacy and numeracy needs and extension in Information and Communication Technology for highly able students.
 
Features at the school include modern facilities such as a gymnasium, multipurpose building, visual arts centre, library, learning technologies centre and a music room. The school has a junior size oval, general adventure playground equipment, basketball/netball courts, cricket nets and an adjacent baseball centre. A substantial parkland featuring ornamental lakes complements this impressive range of outdoor facilities.
 
The school community is supportive and actively involved in all a
reas of school life –School Council and associated sub committees, classroom help, fundraising, camps & excursions and Parents & Friends Association. Student progress discussions and information nights, which are regularly provided, are well attended.
The school community is predominantly Englishing speaking, with about 5% speaking another language at home.
