2006

Enrolments increased to a census date figure of 777.The school is negotiating the introduction of an enrolment zone with the Regional Office to limit enrolments to 800 in future years.

During 2006 the school has been involved in successful internal School Self Evaluation and an external School Review. In line with the changed accountability requirements of DE&T the School Charter has been replaced with the school’s first Strategic Plan (2007-2010).
An exciting development has been the contra arrangement with Yamaha Music School. Through this deal Yamaha has provided the school with the use of a fully maintained state-ofthe-art keyboard laboratory, in return for the capacity to run after hours keyboard classes. A successful outcome of an application for funding from the Investing in Schools Project will allow works to be undertaken during the term break to develop a new library/multi media centre that will be ready for us early in the 2007 school year.
Parent access to the school has been enhanced through the sealing of the Cyril Molyneux Reserve car park by the City of Casey.
Enrolments for 2006 have been maintained at 763 with a similar prediction for enrolments for 2007.
