2001

Year 2001 saw our enrolments rise slightly to 753, with the school capping Prep enrolments at 110, given that 60% of new enrolments now come from out of neighbourhood areas. This year saw the school campaign successfully against the construction of a 35 metre mobile phone tower within 250m of the school. A major buildings project, for the construction of five new permanent classrooms was approved, confirming the long term viability of our school as a relatively large school. A holiday program was established for the first time, in partnership with the City of Casey and our playground equipment was further upgraded with $30,000 extensions being made in the Grade 1/2 Area.
